Not only are they creative they are all very kind woman. The kind of woman that lift each other up, you would be amazed at the kind e-mails going back and forth from the wonderful state of Texas.
I will start with entering my home, Welcome!!! We live on over a acre lot in a beautiful community about 35 minutes from Downtown Houston. We have lived in our home for almost 2 years now and have made many renovations. Our house is a traditional open style floor plan. I love coastal, traditional, charming, cottage styles. Enjoy!!
I have had this little dog forever, I have a thing for dog figurines
I made these little wreath swags for my outdoor light fixtures, very simple
I have a big tree in my entry it's hard to photograph from top to bottom.
I added lots of pheasant feathers this year. My husbands boss was kind enough to bring me some from his hunting trip after I told him I like them for decorating. I love neutral colors as you can see. I don't have a lot of color throughout my house but mostly neutral or natural tones and I really love the soothing quality of this palette.
Some fun ornaments
Once you walk around to the left or right of the foyer you come to my kitchen/living room. We spend lots of time in this room.
I really love this tree it's a blue spruce with many lights. It's decorated similar to my entry tree but less formal and more family. I have several pictures of my kids on this tree. Those are my favorite ornaments!!
I found a new topper this year. I like it because it's casual but also has a coastal feel that I love.
On the way out my dining is on the left side and I did a little tablescape.
I try and use what I have and add a few new things each year. Most of my house is very simple, but collected and thought out. I love to decorate and I hope you enjoyed my tour.
Merry Christmas And Many Blessings in 2016
