Only A Few More Days In PA

Everything has been crazy. The kids wanted to do a few last minute things in Pittsburgh. My parents came to watch Drew play football and spent the weekend with us a couple weeks ago. The kids and Rob went on the duck boat, they absolutely loved it. It is a scenic tour with the history of the city and a trip on the river.

Then we went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner, it was a spectacular day for all of us.
A few days later we were off to TX to find a house, we left Lauren because we knew she would be bored. She had a fine time with Nana B, no problems with getting ice-cream and pancakes. My boys enjoyed it for a day or two and then they also had enough.

 75 degrees not bad!!
We found the most gorgeous home but sadly Rob flew back a few days later for the inspection and there were lots of costly problems so we had to say goodbye ): We had it all planned to move in the first  half of December. At this point, we have no home. Houses sell very fast, they are very high and there is no time to waste. The economy is booming there, it stinks coming from a normal economy to this because the prices are so inflated.  I know God will find us a house. I have hope and we are praying all comes together for our family.

New Makeup

I treated myself at the mall the other day and bought some new makeup. I usually only buy makeup about once every year or two. I buy foundation more often but the good eye shadows last a long time for me. I have heard so much hype about the Naked Pallet but it's so pricey at $50!! The Sephora girls suggested this instead and actually said they liked this better. It even came with a eyeliner and mascara so that was a better deal. So far I really like it, the colors are really pigmented and they go on so smooth and velvety soft.
The colors are really pretty and neutral
I bought this little bronzer, highlight and blush kit. I really like this. It gives you a little color and adds a little glow at the same time. I also tried a new foundation. I don't know how I feel about this yet. It goes on nice but the coverage is medium to light. Sometimes I need a little more to even out my skin but it's great to have a expert match your color. Last week I found this interesting wash cloth thing at the drug store. I am always getting towels full of makeup and mascara. Even after I wash it's amazing what comes off, this little towel is magic. You use a little cleanser and water and it removes everything. You ring it out with water and it's clean, genius!! I just thought I would share some fun new products. If you have used anything amazing let me know. I'm always on the look out to try new things.
Life has been crazy with the moving stuff, I'm trying to not think about it today so I can relax. We found a house in a crazy busy market. It's beautiful but hoping we made a good choice and everything works out. So many decisions, choices…yep I can't Keep Calm and Carry On because I have ANXIETY!!!

School Pictures, Football..

Jaden-5th Grade
I noticed a huge change this year with the kids school pictures. They all look much more grown up all of a sudden. This year they were good last year we had re-takes twice because the pictures were taken really far away, they never looked right. I was so happy this year!!
 Drew- 3rd Grade

Drew is playing flag football. He loves it and is really good!!  The flag football league is in my back yard. I am going to miss some things about living here.
Above Drew's coach is telling him he is going to carry the ball. I can just read Drew's mind, I know this look "Oh wait Me, I'm going to run the ball"

Can't touch this…. Note Rob in the background…GO DREW
 Touch Down Drew!!

Happy Halloween

I love the boys costumes this year, what a great Halloween we had!!
My little Lauren before school this week. She is so cute. I helped out yesterday with Drew's class party. I try and take turns helping with different things so I can see them all. It was Drew's turn since I did a 5th grade event with Jaden last week and Laurens class I help each week. Drew truly looks like Uncle Si. He even has the cord holding on this glasses.

 All his buddies!!
The school has a parade outside with all the kids, I just love this idea. I have never been to a school where they do this and then they have the whole afternoon for a party.

I was in charge of the craft. I had to think of something not to babyish since these kids are getting older but something still fun. I bought 25 canvases and painted them black and used white paint to trace the hand. Then the kids put eye balls on and glitter.I warned the teacher about the glitter. Have you ever heard the saying glitter is the herpes of craft supplies?  No joke it is so messy but I can assure you we cleaned up most of it. The girls insisted on using tons and tons..Got to love girls and their glitter. I think it turned out cute and a nice keepsake for the kids.

 My beautiful Tiana

It was warm but rainy but the kids still had a blast. They all had a huge  bag full of goodies at our return. I love Halloween!!
