Disney part 1

I am finally getting to Disney pictures, we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend going during the month of September.  We were able to walk on every ride with very little wait times. Our family loves Disney it truly is the happiest place on earth.
My 3 Blessings ready to go!  We had a early flight so we had a half of day to enjoy the parks on the first day.

I wish I had my good camera that is for sure but it is so heavy.  I just used my phone and in some pictures it was great but in bad lighting it was not so good.  Next time I am going to bring my good camera, this place it just to great to miss family pictures.
Here we are the second day at the Animal Kingdom, Boo rain. It didn't stop our day every ride stayed open and it cleared up later in the day.
I just love them to pieces and taking them to Disney is my dream come true. To see their faces light up with Joy and excitement is magical.

Happy 8th Birthday Drew

Dear Drew,
I know I say this every year but I can't believe your 8 now. You're a self described mama's boy and your newest line is that you are proud of it. It wasn't to long ago that I had you in my belly. I had such a big belly with you.  You were a lot bigger then Jaden. You came the day before your due date and my labor was great with you.You were a sweet baby that was calm and loved to be hugged. You knew at a young age what hug meant. I am not making this up but at five months old I said give me hug and you put your face to my chest every time I said it. We share a special bond and have gone through some stuff together in your short life. This year was kind of scary with your belly hurting but you are so much better now that it has been a blessing to see you get better. You have so much energy now and have over come so many fears. In fact you rode every ride at Disney and learned how to swim this summer. You make us laugh and not just cute stuff you are really funny. I love this quality so much.  Everyone needs humor and you certainly have it. Take this and add it to your enduring charming behavior, watch out world. I am amazed how smart you are and I love to watch you draw.  You are good at everything.  You are one of those kids that is a shinning star. You take life with ease and seem happy being laid back. You love babies and have a gentle spirit.  You are calming and have a very emotional sensitive side.  I love to hear about your dreams about becoming a animal photographer and I love to hear about all your animal facts.  Each day I get many hugs and kisses from you and most of the time I get a good laugh from your amazing dance skills.  You know so many songs on the radio and to hear you sing them in the backseat as you bust a move is a good moment in my book. You love baseball, eating, and fixing your faux hawk and being the likable boy that you are. We are so proud of you Big D as your dad calls you.
Love,
Mom

Happy Birthday Jaden

 Dear Jaden,
You are 10 years old today, double digits!!  It seems like yesterday I had you at the hospital.  I was so nervous that something was going to go wrong, I read every pregnancy book you could ever imagine.  I loved you being my first baby, it was magical the day you were born. It was like I died and went to heaven when I first laid my eyes on your sweet face. You looked just like your daddy and you still do. I took you everywhere when you were a baby, we were best buddies. I remember lots of sleepless nights and walking into your room to check on you every few hours to make sure you were still breathing. You were a bright baby that was strong willed and you had a bad temper. So far your strong passionate personality is turning out to be a great asset for you. You are a leader and love to try almost anything. You are so brave and not afraid to try new experiences. You continue to impress us with your maturity and wisdom.  I have no clue how your only ten but have so much of the world figured out so soon.  You are a good judge of character and love hard work.  Most days I find you reading a book or watching a show on the History Channel.  I love that you're your own person.  You seem happy to be a kid and you enjoy each day. You are a polite kid and don't seem spoiled at all. You are happy with used books and don't ask for much at all. You love God and have a compassionate heart.  You and I like to look at antique stores and watch movies together. You love your guinea Pig and dog and would love a cat but you understand Lauren is allergic. Your favorite foods are home cooking type foods.  You love meat, mashed potatoes, and anything else that is of that type.  Don't forget your Lego building skills you are a Lego man. You spend hours with your Lego's and you are so good at following the directions. I admire your patience and fix it attitude. You love to take things apart and gain understanding.  I can tell you I have gained so much knowledge and know many records from the Guinness Book Of World Records thanks to you. Mom and Dad are both so proud of the man you are becoming. We look forward to every year we have raising you.  Your a great kid!
Love,
Mom

Catch Up Post

Hey Friends!! This pretty much sums up life at this moment. We just got back from Disney.  It was fabulous just like last time we went.  Hands down the best vacation for families with younger kids.  Now it is back to work and everyday tasks. I finally am caught up on laundry and all the homework.  The boys birthday is this week too and they decided to have a little party because Disney was not enough.  That sounds bad, they are great kids but wanted a few friends over so I am getting some things together for friday.  I am so behind on blogging which I love to do but sometimes I am so tired when I hit the bed I have nothing left. This post is pretty much going to be the things I have not added that I want to remember down the road.
Lauren's beautiful butterfly, I love this makeup it is so pretty on her. Yes, I caved and let her get it done.
Lauren is the perfect age for infomercials.  We
now have a few things from her generation including Slushy Magic which is actually pretty neat.  She also begged me for one of those night light pillow pets.  Jaden and Drew also went through this stage so now I have a collection of As seen On TV items.
These pictures are from when I went to Atlanta to see my BFF Jackie.  I wish I had some more clearer pictures of the hotel.  I only brought my phone but in the background you can see our room.  We stayed at the St. Regis which was phenomenal. I was standing in the bathroom and there were these sliding doors to the bedroom.  Everything was decorated beautiful.  Carpets on wood floor throughout, great furniture, neat accessories.  Every girls dream, I could live there.
I look like I am stabbing her, that is awful. They cut the champagne cork with a knife and the guy said I needed to take a picture with the knife.
 I love Topiaries!!
These picture are form a while ago but I took the kids to the amusement park by our house.  Lots of spiny rides that make me feel like I am going to puke. For some reason kids can handle them but every year I get worse and worse.  I do love roller coasters though.
We went to see my parents a couple weeks ago.  Jaden and Grandpa above at Sweet Frogs.
My mom let us take her cool car on a date.
We took the kids to Nemacolin which is a really nice resort about 45 min away from us. You don't have to stay but you can go for the day and walk around and look at all the animals that the resort keeps on the property.
It is a little cooler because it is in the Mountains
There is also a state park near by called OhioPyle that has a waterfall. Sometimes on Saturdays if we don't have sports we take drives and let the kids explore new things.
A few weeks ago we went to the Steelers training camp which happens near us ever year.  It was pretty neat.  They had games for the kids, and you can get all kinds of autographs from players.

Drew and Lauren in a race
real uniforms to let the kids try on

I was really impressed on how many players stayed to sign stuff for fans.  Many stayed for over an hr after being in 90 degree heat for who knows how long.

Jaden loves anything that has to do with autographs, history, value..He cracks me up.  This guy behind him was so much fun!!  I don't even know who he was but he should have been a comedian.  He had us all laughing and having a good time.
I am caught up a bit, I still have so many posts to post. Disney picture to come soon.

Lauren's 1st day of Preschool

Lauren's 1st Day of Preschool was Wednesday. She was happy to go but was mad it was not kindergarten. It is so hard with summer birthdays to decide what to do.  She is so ready academically but maturity I think another year would suit her in the future. I am still trying to get her to stop sucking her fingers!!  Any suggestions would be appreciated. So one more year at home with my last baby.  She goes to a preschool right down the street from the boys school so it works out nice in the morning.
Lauren 5 yrs old want to be a Chef when she grows up
I am so in love with these lunch dividers.  I was so sick of placing everything in Ziploc bags.  Sometimes I noticed that food tasted weird in the plastic bags, that can't be good.  I found these at TJMaxx and they are awesome.  I also saw some nicer ones at Pottery Barn but they were kind of high and I wanted to make sure I liked the concept before they became another unused item in the cabinet.  So far so good.

Since I have a little more time lately I made Lauren some new hair bows.  She has a big collection but is slowly outgrowing some of them and she needed a few fresh ones.  My time in the south made me fall in love with hair bows. I used to buy them but then started messing around with different techniques and came up with something that worked for me. It is rewarding to make my own and be able to buy any ribbon combinations I want.
So far school is going well. Summer was great but being back into a routine and having a little more time to get things done around the house is wonderful.
