From Our House To Yours

Hi friends, What a nice Christmas we had here. Buddy The Elf was very busy at our house.  Last week he had a nice date with Princess Tiana, visited Santa's lap, rode a pony, took a ride down the steps and flew in a Star Wars aircraft.

Lauren had a chat with Santa at her school. She looks very deep in expression here.
Rob and I before his work party.  We had such a nice time
Getting Ready for Santa..Our house was all lit up and reindeer food was placed. Nana and Grandpa came to visit so they could be with us on Christmas morning.

 Let the fun begin

 Merry Christmas
Drew had a sports Christmas. He is loving Tebow, RG3, Steelers, Yankees, You name it he loves it.

Jaden loves Lincoln, Nana got him this awesome book
Lauren our little Razorback got this for Daddy's collection
My gift from Rob and the kids, I can't wait to use it.
Anyone get Fibber?  Headbands?  These seem to be the games of 2012. They are both really fun.  Headbands is hard though and is frustrating. We are having a really nice break with the kids.  Rob has been working at home this week and the kids and I have been sleeping in, watching movies,  and cooking. Time goes so fast I wish the kids would stay this age for a while.  Hard to believe another year is upon us and the tree will be put away in the next couple days. Hope all our friends and family had a blessed Christmas.

New York City

Jaden and I along with my parents, Aunt, Uncle and Cousin all went to NYC for the day.  My parents only live about three hours away so it is a easy trip. We actually took a tour bus in for the day and they pick you up in the evening to take you home which is ideal because there is nowhere to park and traffic is New York City.  It was my first time going and I wanted to bring Jaden so we could have  one on one time.  First let me say NYC is awesome!!  I never thought I would like it as much as I did, I would say it is the definition of hip, trendy and cool. The energy of the city and diversity is phenomenal. That is probably why people love NYC.
Here we are in the middle of Times Square.
It is really busy, just like the movies. Obviously it is a huge city and you have to be careful but their is a lot going on.  The lights, the Broadway shows, the shopping (wow)  the street entertainers.

I took this picture in the Subway.  It was a bit smelly, I always heard they were smelly.  We took the Subway to see The World Trade Center rebuilding.  The Towers are so high, into the clouds as you can see below.

Here is my parents and Jaden across from the WTC.  Apparently the church was closed for a couple years because of the debris from 911.  It was really cool and old.

When we got back on the Subway we were entertained.  It is pretty comical, your sitting down and all of a sudden you have unsolicited entertainment.  He just walked through the doors onto the next train car. with his son holding a cup for tips.
 Yep(: Our Favorite

Cute pictures by the famous balls
 Radio City
   Rockefeller Center
This whole area with the atmosphere and shopping was like something right from the movie Elf.
 This was from Nike Town
My Dad was so so sweet he surprised me with a little necklace.
Talk about Window Shopping, this was art at it's finest.

We had a great time and can't wait to go back, don't miss this place if you ever have the chance.

Thanksgiving and a Christmas tree

We had a very nice Thanksgiving this year at my mom's.  My aunt, Cousin and her new baby were there too.  I have not met this new guy yet and let me say I enjoying holding him all weekend long. I miss my kids being this age.  He was such a easy sweet baby, my goodness my cousin Sarah is spoiled (:  Drew loves babies so much. We went shopping on Friday, and saw the new Twilight Movie which was really good.
Reagan, love his eyes!
 My 3 Blessings

I put my tree up right before we left so when we came home we could enjoy it. This year I actually had time to plan and decorate.  Last year we moved a few days before Christmas so we didn't have much time to enjoy our tree or decorate.  I am really looking forward to Christmas this year.  The kids are at a great age to enjoy all the fun.
I decided to put the tree back in the same corner as last year. It looks so pretty from outside it made the most sense.  You can see it from the side of our house coming up our hill and from the front.
I first had all silver, green, and brown but I really missed my red. I love red for Christmas.  I love seeing all the new non-traditional colors for Christmas but I guess I like classic styles best.
