Part 3

Some more beach pictures. I am so happy that I can print all these out into my blog book. I have decided that I will continue to put the kids sports pictures into scrapbooks but I am going to retire doing it for every holiday. I just can't keep up with it and I hate never ending projects. Blogging is different to me, it is a way to express myself and remember all our journeys in diary form. I still print all my pictures out, and burn them onto discs. I suppose it is the photo crazed looney in me. I also send my mom tons of pictures. Just in case we ever have a fire or something, you just never know.(I am serious (: They are my most prized possessions. Thank God for memories but pictures sure help. My mom used to say that the years will fly by and run into each other and you'll think you will remember everything but you won't. That is so sad, but she is right. The last couple years have gone fast.. I can't believe Jaden is going to be in the 3rd Grade. Drew will be in the 1st and Lauren a preschooler. All of a sudden everyone seems so much older.

My favorite place to be!! I love this little dress, my mom picked it out for me (: I am always squinting my eyes, yes I have eyes.

I loved this pier, we found lots of crabs and starfish on the wood.

My boys!! Best buddies most days but we have moments let me tell you. They are my Grumpy Old Men at times.

She is so silly and everything is a new adventure. She make life never dull. Right when I am at wits end she looks at me with her darling face runs to me and hugs me and says..."Mommy I love you and you are my friend." Melts my heart (: She knows how much I love her.

They look so old ):

I have one more section of pictures they are just photography pictures.

We are having a great week so far. Kids are going to VBS at a big church down the road. All three are going! It is going to be a great week of fun for them and a nice little break for me. Summer is just flying by. Almost July already.

Vacation part 2

We went to a really neat dinner theater. It was formally the Dixie Stampede. Still the same owner Miss Dolly but they transformed this one into a pirate voyage. It seems a lot more fitting for the area.

The kids loved it. They give you tons of food. It was so much food all five of us could have shared one plate. It was kind of hard to eat and watch all the excitement. They had all kinds of diving, acrobats, fire juggling, you name it they had it..

I think the seal was my favorite part.

If your in the area for vacation I think most people would love it.

My boys before the feast.

We went to a lot of theme style restaurants. The kids liked Senior Frogs the best. Such a fun place. I have been to Mexico a couple times and this is the place to go down there. They put one at Myrtle Beach and toned it down a bit for families. It was great family fun actually, I think the night life gets wilder but the kids had a blast. Here is Jaden doing the sprinkler dance, and someone made balloon hats for them.

Jimmy Buffets restaurant had a three hr wait so we decided there was no way!! It is such a neat place though. It is located at Broadway At The Beach which is a really neat outdoor shopping area. It is kind of like a bigger downtown Disney. Rob called it a upscale fair, leave it to him for humor. There are some attractions, games, and rides and some vendors along with neat shops.

Lauren had to ride the Merry Go Round. I hate rides that go around and around. I had to close my eyes as I stood by her. She looks so happy so worth it.

My mom calls Jaden her little king, so this was perfect.

To funny, this reminds me of Dog The Bounty Hunter if only it could have been bleach blonde and frizzy.

There is only so much shopping a man can take.

One of our many crabs we caught. He was mad!!

A few years ago I took this same picture. I want to take one every time we go to the beach to see how much the kids have grown. I love this picture! They are all getting big and all look similar in size. Lauren is going to pass both boys up I think. She is 3 here. Jaden is 8 and Drew is 6. Super model size~

At the beach. Lauren is being difficult to take pictures of lately. We had our pictures taken at the beach and so many of them she just would not look at the camera or just shut her eyes laughing. She is so ornery, and cracks herself up.

Jaden is not much into pictures either.

Mr GQ Drew is to cool for his own good. We were in the car and he knew all the words to the Black Eyed Pea's song and has a dance to go with it, lol!!!

Jaden is funny in the most peculiar way. The stuff he says is so advanced and then he has this running encyclopedia brain to add comments. He marches to the beat of his own tune. Love it!

I would love to have a pool someday. I think in our next house we are putting one in. We all had fun just sitting around and playing in the water.

Okay, this view is not to shabby either.

Senior Frogs

Vacation part 1, and new job

I think I am finally caught up on some laundry, and cleaning. Big News around here. Rob started a new job this week. I have been wanting to post the news but everything has been so crazy and then there were all the approvals before I wanted to mention it. He has been very dedicated to his last job and really had no intentions of leaving. In the last couple years he felt more and more that that next promotion he has been working for may not be what is best for our family. Although the money would be a great benefit the time and stress may not be. One day he got a call and he just listened to what they said and it sounded to good to be true. Several interviews later he had to make the tough decision to resign choosing what was best for our family. It so happens that he said no to something else to say yes to something better. I truly feel that God is honoring Rob with this by him following His will instead of his own. One of my favorite verses is "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Rob is a hard worker and wants to provide for our family. He first wants to honor God and that is a hard position to be in at times. You want to provide but at the same time still know what matters most in life. He did not want to miss the kid's games and not see us as much just to make a lot more money. This job seems to be the best of both worlds so it was very hard to say no. One of my friends said. God brought this to you and you have been faithful so why would you say no to a blessing he is putting in front of you. It is sometimes hard to accept a blessing and we feel humbled. Anyway it is a totally different industry, natural gas. Which is a green resource with great future in a America. So our new adventure begins!

So this week he has been in Texas, it is all new but exciting.

The week before his new job started we already had our vacation planned to Myrtle Beach. It was a great relaxing time and it gave us a lot of time to talk about our future. We stopped in Mt. Airy, North Carolina. Rob loves Andy Griffith so we stopped at the museum for him. I am glad my husband is simple when it comes to wants this made his day.

My movie star

The kids loved the beach!! We saw lots of wildlife. My boys love to fish and pretend to hunt so catching sea creatures was a favorite pastime.

They call these things crabs for a reason.

Some guy caught a sting ray and he told the boys to pretend they caught it, cute.

Miss Sassy

Jaden floating. This is the life!! I loved the beach area where we stayed. In North Myrtle Beach the beach seems much wider and when the tide goes out it leaves pools everywhere so that little kids can play in them and they are not to deep. Plus all the fish and hermit crabs get trapped so the kids have fun catching them.

Rob taking the kids out. They all loved the water, especially Jaden. He had a boogie board and went out past waist deep he kept ridding the waves over and over again.

I plan on posting more tomorrow or later today. Lots of fun and good times but so nice to be home. We have had to detox the kids from fun 24/7 so back to reality (:

Gone Fishing

Today is finally the last day of school for the boys. They are so ready to be done. Last week we went fishing..They all loved it, especially Jaden. Rob taught him how to take the fish off the hook. He had no reserves and we caught a lot of little fish and even the worlds smallest bass which was caught by me (:

And here it is..

There is a professional fisherman that kisses all his fish before he lets them go. Rob told Jaden about it and so now we have a kissing fisherman

Lauren's first fish!! She was scared to death of it. She has a girly side to her even though she acts tough.

Enough pictures mom, Love the forced smile (:

Drew's many fish

They found a frog and they liked him until he....

peed on someones hand

Cute smile with a Kool-Aid stain.

Mr. Adventure. He is a dare devil and loves to explore. I am happy he loves the outdoors

I wanted to post my photography blog http://ktgracephotography.blogspot.com/

I put a few of the wedding pictures I took on there.
