Nina, a young, unmarried waitress at a Mexican restaurant, finds herself pregnant and without work after coming in late several days because of morning sickness. Jose, the restaurant's chef, is taken by Nina's plight and becomes her sole confidant. Jose helps her walk through her decision on what to do with her pregnancy. In the process, he bears secrets from his own mysterious past, which reveal his tenderness and passion for her and the child she is carrying.
I have wanted to see this movie for so long, I finally found it in the redbox movie machine for $1. It was a wonderful movie that I highly recommend. It seemed very real, and how one day can change someones life.

9th Anniversary

Today is our 9th Anniversary, I have this picture framed it is probably my favorite. Just a candid shot of us dancing at our wedding. When I look back now I know that we were really young, maybe to young to get married. It was a happy day full of fun. It felt so right, to be next to him that day. Rob has treated me with more respect then probably any woman in the world. It makes me cry to think about how much I love him! I love him more then the day I married him!! Life and marriage is full of ups and downs. We have had some really high times and really low times. Through the years we have become Christians together and have changed our whole outlook on life because of that. I'm thankful that God knew what He was doing so long ago that He knew we would be perfect for each other. The vows mean so much to me now, knowing how much our relationship with Jesus Christ means. I pray for many more years to celebrate. Thank you Rob for countless hrs of putting up with my not so great times and for being there for me during some of the hardest times. For telling me each day how beautiful I am, and for all your encouragement. I love you!!

Some of our good times.
For being such a great daddy and working so hard for me to be able to live my dream of being a stay at home mom.
For listening to God's will in our life.
Happy Anniversary!

Having fun taking pictures

Last week we were out taking a country drive and as evening approached I was able to get some pretty pictures. Capturing some of God's artwork. He is so amazing.
Some happy little clouds
farmland by our house
Isn't this moon so cool?
On our way home a few weeks ago I captured these shots. They must have had the perfect weather because there were about ten hot air balloons out. We got to watch them land and everything. People were pulling off the highway to see them. They are so neat. I checked online to see how much it was to go up in one and it was $500 for an hr for 2 people. I suppose I will wait a while on that one.
It flew right over our heads, good thing I had my camera.
Here are some in the distance.

Jaden's First Day Of School

Here he is my big Kindergartner
I love this picture
So cute, Drew has horrible allergies right now though, poor kid you can see the red eyes.
Walking him to the bus stop
Oh so sweet!
Here comes the bus!
The bus driver was so nice she let all the parents take pictures.
We were able to follow him to school the first day and take pictures.
Jaden and his buddy Tyler
We meet him in his room and class had already started. I can't believe how big he is now. I actually did better then I though and held it together. I know he is going to love it and do so well. I'm so proud of him!!

A great weekend surprise!!!

On Sat morning I woke up to clues around the house. I knew that Rob's mom was coming to visit that day but I had no clue to what was going on. The clues had me running all over the house and when you put them all together it was pack your bags your going away for the night.. This was a complete surprise for me!!!! Rob has never done anything like this, I felt so special. The hard part was leaving the kids all 3 of them with Nana. I really needed this break so bad. The day before I was having one of my every 2-3 week melt downs where I was stressed. I told Rob I needed a vacation so bad. Jaden is starting school, we are having trouble finding a church home (this has been hard) our AR house still has not sold, it has been a year!!. It could be way worse but these non the less are stresses that get you down. I know God is in control and I'm waiting for the rainbow! This really brightend my day!!! He took me near Cincinnati to spend the night, he arranged for us to stay in a hotel near a bunch of antique shops and shopping. Rob is totally not a shopper so this was truly a labor of love. It makes me cry that he cared enough about me to surprise me with this little night away for our anniversary which is next week (9years!!)) Anway I was hoping for the above picture with good prices, you know me. The shops were pretty but to much money so we ended up Home Goods, one of my favorite stores. Yes, Rob walked isle after isle with me..He doesn't admit to it but he has great taste in decorating and picking my clothes! We found some treasures as I call them bellow at a few shops. We ate at non-kid friendly restaurants and shared a banana split at a old fashioned ice cream parlor. It was just what we needed.. On sunday I made him stop at the flea market. He didn't like it but I did. This is where a lot of the good deals come from (think design on a dime), you have to get past the atmosphere real quick and find those neat decorative things.
This table was found at the flea market for $10!! It is pretty cool, it is old and was painted a long time ago. Rob likes the reddish color I'm still thinking to change it but I love the perfect old weathered look, that is hard to duplicate.
My toile bunny lamp. I love bunny stuff? I have since I was little.
My rooster lamp
My wall sign, I love birds too.
Thanks for listening to my special weekend, tomorrow is a big day for Jaden and Us!

A Friday to make you laugh

We are getting ready for Halloween already around here. The boys love playing dress up, that is their favorite thing to do. We have several costumes and just recently I bought about eight more off of Craigslist add. I was planning on buying Drew a turtle costume but then I found this one included with this lot of costumes. They were all in great shape and in their size. They are so happy!!
This is just plain scary but so funny!! This guy is from the comic books, I think.
Two best buddies Captain America and a Turtle.
This one is to cute on Mr. Drew.
Have a great Friday, hope this made you all smile.

Kitchen painted and redecorated

I painted the kitchen the color match of Tobacco Road from my favorite blogger's suggestion from Nesting Place
I love this ladies style and her ideas. I like that she sticks to a real budget, and most of her ideas are creative and she enjoys thrifting to find rare decor. I love my kitchen, it is defiantly my favorite room in our house. It is really big, more then I need or deserve. I pretty much spend most of my day in here cleaning and cooking for the kids.
This area is so nice because I put all the kids games in the cabinets over here and some odds and ends.
Here is my barn star and plate wall, thanks to the Nester, I have been on a creative streak. I want to add a couple more plates to it, but I like it with that paint color she loves to well.
This is one at night, I just though it looked warm and comfortable. I love a comfortable home that has a lot of fun. Thanks for looking!

Fun at the County Fair

We went to our hometown where Rob and I grew up this weekend. They have one of the nicest County Fair's in Ohio, we think anyway. We like showing the boys the schools we went to etc.. It was a beautiful day. Before we went to the fair they have the hr + long fair parade. The boys loved the firetrucks and bands the best.
Here we are getting ready before the parade started. The kids got a huge bowl full of candy, they were thrilled.
Rob's Uncle Gary was in the parade, here he is.
Lauren squealing at the horses, pointing and saying something that sounds like horsey. Watch out Nana and Grandpa you might have a horse lover.
Drew with a cow
The boys on a John Deere Bobcat
Drew petting the cows
We had a great time, and saw somthing really cool outside of Columbus on the way home, stay tuned...

Miss Lauren, so happy!!

Miss Lauren why won't you keep your bows in or headbands on? I have this fascination with hair bows, bow bands, whatever they are called. My southern friends got me hooked, we never leave the house without one. It is important for a southern girl to sport one of these adorable girly accessories. I see them on some little girls here but not nearly as much as the southern girls. Thanks for my time in the south I have embraced these along with chocolate gravy and all those sort of southern things. I seriously catch myself saying Y'all sometimes, it just seems to flow.
Oh how my Miss Lauren loves to pick her Mommy's flowers on the patio.
She looks serious here but she knows what she is up to.
Yep, eating mulch.
Here she is taking a few steps here and there. She does not seem real into walking. she crawls as fast as lighting so why would she. She is one happy baby! It is so funny how shy she is when we are out and about. At home she is so happy and relaxed. We have a big day tomorrow we are on our way to our hometown country fair. It is a really good one so we are excited for the boys. I will have plenty of blogging material. Have A Great Weekend!
