Drew and David Archuleta?

Okay I know I just posted this picture of Jaden and Drew but look at David Archuleta and then Drew (stripped shirt). When we were watching AI Rob said he reminds me of somebody meaning David. Then he says he kind of looks like Drew. Then I thought so too. I went and got my hair done today and I was flipping thru this magazine and I was like oh my gosh. I had my little digital camera with me and I pulled up this picture from the golf course. Then I showed the girls in the beauty salon and they could not beleive it. Drew is a little heartbreaker all ready but this confirms it. It is funny how certain people resemble different people.

Slate Run Farm

There is a real working farm in the metro parks near our house. It is really cool it is for the public to come see what it is like to work on a farm. They even let you help feed the animals and water the garden. They keep it working as a farm in the 1880's though so everything is very old. They dress like farmers from them, use old farm equipment and play the part. The boys loved it.
Just had to laugh at my funny husband. They had the toys left out for the kids to try. I look up and see him coming across the field on these.
Lauren Grace enjoying the day.
This was too funny we were in the hog barn. The smell is really bad not like horses or sheep, really bad.
Baby calf

These are so sweet.

Muirfield Memorial Tournament

Rob's job got some passes for the week for the tournament and we were able to go yesterday to the practice. If you have never seen this place you must watch it this week on T.V. It is the most beautiful golf course ever. The boys were sad that Tiger Woods was going to miss this tournament he has a injured leg or something. I think I was the one who was sad really. I love watching him play. It was so neat to see the houses too they were like something out of a magazine. .
Rob and the boys

I had to take advantage of the lush landscapes for some pictures.
Lauren got a lot of looks and someone wanted to take her picture because she was so beautiful.
Look at this yard this is the back of the house.

My life is never dull!!

This is to cute.
I bought this for the boys and just seeing them in the costume makes me laugh. The other Day Drew came out to get the mail with me and stopped traffic.
No explanation here. She likes to eat.
Isn't she gorgeous?
Just had to follow it up with a happy smile. It makes it all worth it on those hard days. We had a very busy memorial weekend together. I have a lot of blogging material. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

A new baby and a model baby in the making

Here is my friend Kristen's new baby girl. She is adopted too so this is a very special baby! She was worth the wait, her mommy and daddy are so proud. We had a great day yesterday going to her shower and visiting friends in our hometown.
Whos eyes are bigger here? Drew loved the baby of course.
Okay, I can just see her saying. "Ya, I know I'm beautiful"
She really is darling! I love this outfit on her it just suits her.
I told Rob she looks like she is 16 here, she looks so grown up sometimes.

T-ball game #1

Here is Jaden at his first game. We have been canceled for weeks now. Ohio has had a ton of rain. Finally they played. Jaden had a couple hits and a big bomb of a hit, so proud of course. He is really playing well this year especially when he is in the backyard with us. He still gets star struck by all the people. Rob is coaching again this year, he does so well with the kids. We have some really good players again this year, they are so fun to watch at this age.

My Drew-blood donation

This t-shirt brought back some painful memories for us. Through one of the worst things in my life I was forever changed. Drew had to have a major surgery when he was 5mo old as you can see here. He was born with the soft spot on his forehead already closed. Most babies stay open till they are about 9mo. Drew lost a ton a blood and received a blood transfusion from Rob. Rob and him matched and he wanted to do this for him. Through this painful day I'm so thankful for the miracle that God has shown me through all of this. We as a family are forever changed. When I think life is hard somedays I remember this and we are so thankful for our children. When you see people caring about things that don't matter like their status in this world you realize that it doesn't matter, that life could have changed for us in a second that day 3yrs ago. God was so good to us, they said that Drew would have had to go to ICU for 3 days but instead we were home less then 48 hrs later. There was another mom there that's son was facing a major heart surgery she was so strong, it made me have strength to be strong for Drew. I was a mess though, crumbling inside. I look back and see all the promises that God says that he brings to his people. Mercy, grace, protection, understanding, love, compassion and I see all of them and many more. As my son grows I see how wonderfully made that he is. I'm thankful for the many prayers that we had at that time. For God holding us up in this time and for sending an angel to stand next to his Dr. My mom and I thought that the minute he came out of surgery that he had a glow, the light just shinned down on his face. It was evident that that he was safe and was watched from heaven. As I close, I just wanted to thank so many of you for donating blood to save lives. You are a hero!

Our baby birds

Our baby birds. I have been watching this mama for a while now. I watched her build her nest. Every few days I would peak inside to see if their were any eggs. The nest is in a tree and is placed low so I can lift the kids up to see. She is such a good mommy she keeps a eye on us but does not seem mean when we are taking pictures or anything. We will have a update in the next day or two of the triplits. They have grown a ton. These pictures are just about five days apart from the eggs to the sleeping babies.

Pictures, Pictures and more Pictures

Here they are, some of my favorites anyway. There is still a ton more that I like. Pictures are my favorite thing in the whole world. It makes me sad that I will look back and remember this time in my life. Life is full of seasons some good and some bad. Times were we change and grow a lot in the person we are. As I look at the kids I feel like I will always remember how they were at a certain age but the sad thing is I won't. I'm sure with memory and pictures I will remember some of my feelings, and highlights but I'm so thankful for my pictures.
On a fun note: David the guy that took our pictures has asked us if he can showcase our pictures in the local coffee house. I thought that was cool, local celebraties. No it is pretty funny because people remember us all the time since we have a trasracial family already. I'm so excited to get these up on my wall. David also offered to help me learn some skills since I'm interested in photography myself. I think it will be a great outlet for me.
